Welcome to Tokyo Ghoul - Wraith!

This is a heavily augmented Alternate Universe (AU) roleplay commmunity set in the world of Tokyo Ghoul, by Sui Ishida. 

How do we differ from other communities? 

We use the same core ideas as the source material: ghouls, investigators, the CCG — but almost everything else has been rebuilt from scratch. This isn’t a retelling of the manga or anime. If you’ve only seen the show then you’ll want to read through our lore sections (which can be found on this website) before diving into character creation. A lot has changed, you will need to change your OCs heavily or create entirely new ones to participate!!

Our vision is to create a grounded and atmospheric world that leans more heavily into the core themes at the heart of Tokyo Ghoul, but with less focus on shonen-style power scaling. We want to focus more on the story, on the characters, and consequences of such a volitile moral landscape.

We have robust but non-intrusive progression and Roleplaying systems. These systems are here to enhance your roleplay experience — not dictate it.
